It has been a while since my last post, for various reasons. Just like last year, January was filled with illness: strep throat for me, colds for everyone. We also lost our camera, so I have no pictures to share. Today I purchased a brand new camera so I will have new pictures soon. We lost things before Ryan was born (my sunglasses, baseball tickets, Bob's jacket), but now we are losing things at an exponential rate.
Compared with recent years with no snow to speak of, January was pretty snowy. We do not own a sled, so Bob improvised with a laundry basket. Ryan enjoyed sledding down the hill in it. At the end of the video you can hear me say "bubbles." That is one of the words Ryan can say now. He also can say "juice" "shoes" "dog" and "book." I have tried to get the words on camera, but I have only been successful in taking film of me saying those words. Ryan and I just watched some of those videos together, and he of course repeated the words as I said them - too bad we were not on video.
